IACP Foundation announces 2007/2008 scholarship awards

You are eligible to receive a scholarship from the IACP Foundation if you meet the following criteria:
  • You are the spouse (not remarried), son or daughter (biological, adopted or stepchild) of a police officer who has been killed in the line of duty (line of duty means: engaged in authorized law enforcement duty when the fatal injury is sustained), or
  • You are the spouse (if widowed, not remarried), son or daughter (biological, adopted or stepchild) of a police officer who has been permanently disabled in the line of duty (line of duty means: engaged in authorized law enforcement duty when the disabling injury is sustained),
  • You are a high school graduate (or in possession of a high school equivalency diploma), or registered as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or post high school vocational/technical institution.
