Center for Police Leadership

Center for Police Leadership

In 2005, the IACP Foundation earmarked $250,000 in restricted funds to establish the IACP Center for Police Leadership. This Center builds upon previous Department of Justice office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) funded efforts designed to promote professional policing. Over the next 18 months, the Foundation will establish the Center for Police Leadership as a training and resource center for police departments around the world, providing on-site training and technical assistance as well as developing police leadership publications.

Opportunities are available for individuals, foundations and corporations to support the Center for Police Leadership through the funding of specific training sessions, either by geographic region or by specific police Departments.
