Michelle Norton’s Story
Michelle Norton’s Story is the compelling narrative of a mother whose two sons were killed in the course of a law enforcement officer’s emergency response. This police force training video was produced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and ALERT International (Association of Professional Law Enforcement Emergency Vehicle Response Trainers).
The video is intended for use in an in a roll call or in-service training situation and serves to reinforce the critical nature of emergency driving. It reemphasizes officers’ responsibilities in the safe and prudent operation of their vehicles. The IACP Foundation has distributed this video to every domestic IACP member agency and to each individual international member.
