Lisa G. Womack

PRESENT POSITION

On August 1, 2005, Lisa Womack was appointed Chief of Police for Elgin, Illinois by Elgin City Manager Olufemi Folarin. The Elgin Police Department is a CALEA accredited agency, and the department consists of 179 sworn personnel and 80 support staff (civilian) employees with an operating budget of $24 million.

PREVIOUS POSITIONS

  • April 2004 to July 2005, served as the Chief of Police for the City of Sugar Land, Texas.
  • June 1992 to March 2004, served as the Deputy Chief of Police for the City of Arlington, Texas.
